BMC assault victim charged with ‘reckless driving’
Andrew Ong | Jun 10, 08 11:53am

Mechanic Chang Jiun Haur, 23, who was brutally assaulted by riot police at the disputed Bandar Mahkota Cheras barricade last month, was charged today with reckless driving during the incident.

According to his lawyer Gan Ping Sieu, Chang was charged under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act 1987 at noon at Kajang Magistrates’ Court.

If found guilty, he could be facing a mandatory jail sentence of up to five years and face a fine between RM5,000 to RM15,000. His driving license can also be suspended for no less than two years.

Chang pleaded not guilty and posted a RM3,000 bail. The trial has been set for hearing on Aug 7.

Chang was among four individuals initially under investigation by the police for attempted murder during an incident on May 27 at the barricaded toll-free access road Bandar Mahkota Cheras.

According to police, the four were being probed for allegedly attempting to cause injuries to several police personnel stationed at the barricade while driving away from the scene.

During the incident, he was allegedly dragged out of his car and was repeatedly kicked and beaten by 20 riot squad (FRU) personnel armed with batons.

All four individuals in the car were subsequently arrested.

Chang is the only person to be charged in the incident. According to Gan, the police found no case against the three others - Cheok Kem Hoo, 21, Chan Siew Meng, 31, and Chang Jiun Mein, 21.

‘Investigations flawed’
Gan said he had accompanied Chang to the Kajang district police headquarters today to assist investigations and was then told that the latter would be charged.

“The police insisted that my client was to be charged although we argued that the police investigations were flawed because statements from several important witnesses had yet to be recorded,” he said.

According to Gan, the occupants of the vehicles behind and in front of Chang’s vehicle at the material time had yet to have their statements recorded by the police.

“The occupants of the vehicle are willing to have their statements recorded. We offered that to the police and so that they hold on to charges,” said Gan, who is also MCA Youth legal bureau chief.

The Bandar Mahkota Cheras barricade was the scene of several clashes between residents, riot police and purported hired-thugs over the barricade. Residents wanted the barricade removed and claimed that it is illegal.

Cheras-Kajang Highway concessionaire Grand Saga Sdn Bhd had erected the barricade to prevent Bandar Mahkota Cheras from bypassing one of their toll-booths.

However, the Works Ministry granted the residents a temporary reprieve by announcing that the barricade would be removed pending the outcome of a suit between Bandar Mahkota Cheras developer Narajaya Sdn Bhd and Grand Saga.

So…. if the statement bold in red is true and that the police force did not do their investigate properly then how can we expect the police, with the motto loosely translated ‘Integrity is our deed/practice’ (Integriti amalan kita) and ‘Strict, Fair and Manners’ (Tegas, Adil dan Berhemah) to protect us and ensure justice is done!!

So humble…

This is what you call a good leader. So humble… This is Barisan Nasional leader should follow. Not like some kind of an arrogant prick!!

This is what Chief Minister of Penang Lim Guan Eng did (as reported on the Star 10 June 2008) ‘Don’t sabotage investment in Penang, Koh told’

In Bukit Mertajam, Lim credited Penangites with the RM1.2 bil investment by Japanese manufacturer Ibiden Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd at the Penang Science Park in Bukit Minyak.

“There are various stages in a deal and everybody has a share in it.

“Japanese companies are tough negotiators, and we have tried our very best.

“We are happy with Ibiden’s decision, which we hope will inspire other Japanese companies to follow suit,” he told newsmen after Ibiden’s groundbreaking ceremony at the park yesterday.

This is how humble he is. He gives credits to the people. Not the previous administrative government but the people! It is true, the government sets the infrastructure and medium but it is always the people who works on it.

And what Koh Tsu Koon says?! He seems to think that the current government is trying to take credit for the groundwork that he and his administration has done…

Fair enough, he might have initiated all this talk, so what?! It’s for the people right? So if the intention is for the people then why bitch about whether the current government are trying to take credit for all investments that they have secured?

Arrogant plick!!

Rude Awakening…

Posted on May 30th, 2008 in Piss me off!) by eQuilec | 0 Comments »

I just got my first rude awakening from a comment left on my post ‘Police Malaysia are really shitty’ well… what did I expect? A hero’s applause. I was in someways ready for that, when one vents his anger openly whether it is right or wrong, I guess repercussion or backlash is bound to happen.

But I do not think that I have vented my anger out in any improper manner. Other than taking a meek out of police officers who have not gone through the full government education system. (haha… trying to select my words carefully here)

My anger was justified. Even without concrete proof…. Even if there was proof? No one seems either dare do , want to or even try to do anything about it. We can just throw our thoughts and especially our experiences in ‘bad encounter’ with the man in blue or white.

Here is one letter ‘Encounter with Rude and Arrogant Cops’. Well, what can this guy do you tell me? Make a report? File a complain? We are drown by the fact that the police will not help us even we file a report because they protect their own organization. No one can prove this… but this has become a fact because of peoples experiences.

And a lot of them are bad experiences. If there are some good experiences, please let me know or tell other people about it. Up till today, I have yet to hear one good and wonderful experiences with the man in blue and white.

Here are some classic posted on YouTube….

So yeah… screw you!!

Notice I took out the ‘Di Raja’ from ‘Police Malaysia….. ‘ because it would be embarrassing for our Agong to be associated with such indecency.

Police Malaysia are really shitty

I was reading this entry from Malaysiakini

BMC fracas: Police beat up youth
Syed Jaymal Zahiid | May 28, 08 2:46pm

By his account, he was only a curiosity-seeker who wanted to know what was going on at the site of a disputed barricade near Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) last night.

In no time at all, however, Chang Jiun Haur was soaked in his own blood after being repeatedly beaten by 20 riot squad (FRU) personnel armed with batons and kicked with boots.

Chang, 21, his sister and two friends were driving away from the site of the barricade about 11.30pm, when their car was surrounded by police personnel who had earlier dealt with a fracas involving BMC residents.

A high-ranking police officer at the scene claimed that Chang had run over a FRU personnel with his car.

“He asked for it. He ran over a policeman and he got what he deserved,” the officer told Malaysiakini a few minutes after the incident.

Asked to identify the person who was hit by the car, the officer had initial difficulty in persuading the individual to come forward.

When he did so, the man - who appeared unscathed - claimed: “He tried to run me over… look at my baton, it is broken. What more evidence do you want?”

However, a police officer who took Chang to the Kajang Hospital said none of the personnel had been hit by the car.

Chang, when met at the hospital at 12.30am, denied this as well: “We had just come back (to Kuala Lumpur) from Port Dickson and wanted to see what was going on.”

He was lying on a bed, with a bloodied mouth. His shirt had been torn off by the police, and his shorts were drenched in blood. He was crying from the shock and trauma, and was unable to say much more.

It is learnt that Chang was placed in the intensive care unit. The other occupants of his car were arrested last night, but were released today according to BMC Open Road Committee chairperson Tan Boon Hwa who has been keeping tabs on last night’s dramatic events.

DAP Selangor executive councillor Ronnie Liu, who visited Chang later last night, said the police had over-reacted and that the excessive use of force could not be justified.

“The police should maintain law and order and not assault people. I am disappointed. My party will provide Chang and the others with lawyers,” Liu said.

According to Liu, the beating was so severe that Chang lost one or two of his teeth.

‘Journalists attacked’

Chinese-language dailies reported today that more than 10 people were seriously injured in yesterday’s incident, which saw BMC residents assaulted by ‘thugs’ allegedly hired by toll concessionaire Grand Saga.

cheras mahkota road grand saga barricade 270508 new barricadeHowever, the company has disassociated itself from the incident, also saying it does not condone violence.

About 7pm yesterday, defiant residents attempted to tear down the barricade that had just been rebuilt, but were confronted by unidentified men armed with iron rods, helmets and sticks.

“They attacked the residents immediately. About 10 people were assaulted, and three of them were reporters. Their cameras were confiscated as well,” claimed Tan.

Star reported that Utusan Malaysia photographer Roy Azis Abdul Aziz had been beaten up when he tried to take photos of the fracas.

BMC resident Chin Kee Chong’s right arm was broken (right) and he suffered injuries to his head, while another resident - Lee Ah Seng - sustained severe injuries to his head, which required seven stitches.

Some residents claimed that several policemen present during the incident had failed to intervene.

Kajang police chief Shakaruddin Che Mood, however, said they were only traffic policemen whom he had sent to the area for traffic control.

“They were too busy controlling traffic and could not do anything,” he told reporters, adding that five police reports have been lodged on the assault.

Grand Saga has been involved in a long-running dispute over its bid to block a toll-free access road from BMC to the Cheras-Kajang Highway. The barricade has been rebuilt on three occasions, after being torn down by residents.

The Selangor menteri besar’s political secretary, Nik Nazmi Nik Ali, has said that a response will be issued today over last night’s incident.

This really sucks. Read what the readers say http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/83610

It is a very silent fact that police here in Malaysia sucks big time!

Bribing a traffic police is very common. It is silent, everyone know of it but no one dares to report it. This is how people get away with traffic offences, and why are there so many deaths on the road. Because of this disease. Sure it’s the drivers fault for driving recklessly. If the drivers are to be left accountable for their actions, then it is for this reason that the traffic police must contineu to remind us and keep us in check by either warn us or issue a summon to us!

Not fucking find ways to ’settle’ the problem….

Why the fuck do we need traffic police? To just direct traffic on the road?

Read an old entry from Kenny Sia here. And you will see how blatantly corrupted the police are.

It’s not about a few bad apples, it is the whole fucking bunch!!! What do you expect when the level of entry to be a police is a mere pass on your Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SRP), equivalent to an O level…. sorry… lower than an O level entry. Granted that not many top graduates will find a carreer as a police officer especially when Police here in Malaysia are being paid peanuts. But if that is the case, then the police force must continue to educate and train them to do what they are paid to do!

This is how the word ‘kurang-ajar’ (less educated) is being translated into our society with uniform. Want to have a glimpes of what it could have been if they were drop outs! Look at Myanmar!

This article above takes the cake of what this is all about…. We are not talking about three or four police beating up one person like in the USA police beating scandal…. This is a whole bunch of them!!

Whole bunch of stupid, not too educated people who are charge with protecting the society. Inciting calm and peace!!!

Shit man…. I can just go on and on…

Oh… and one more thing to add. Want to know why Malaysia’s crime rate is so high? That is because every common crook knows that they can get away with it… All you need is a little bit of dough…. Shhhh… don’t tell anyone. It’s a hidden and silent secret….

What the fuck!!!!

RM27mil Spend in two months!!

Posted on May 24th, 2008 in Piss me off!) by eQuilec | 0 Comments »

How the fuck can 57 MPs from Selangor spend RM27mils in two months?!?

How the fuck can Khir Toyol have the bloody audacity to tell the current state government to ’stop criticizing the earlier government over trivial issues and start working on implementing improvements.’?!

How the fuck can the current state government implement improvements when RM27mil or 90% of the state funds allocations has already been spent?!

How the fuck can Khir Toyol say that the MPs spendings were not to their benefit?! Moving RM27mil in two months with 57 MPs involve takes a lot of effort, coordination, and control…. How the fuck can something like this happenned??!?!

You know what?! Khir Toyol can go screw himself!!!

If Toyol wife’s does not solve the Balkin case soon… I think I will go ask her to screw herself too!!! Bitch!!!
